The Summer Intensive introduces actors to the methods of training employed by the Studio, built on the foundations of the Meisner Technique. For students who wish to continue their training in the Fall or Winter, it provides a strong send-off for the Two Year Program.
The 2025 Summer Intensive begins June 18, 2025. All classes will end by August 2, 2025.
Interviews for the 2025 Summer Intensive are ongoing. There is no deadline, however, once classes are full we will continue to hold interviews for a wait list. The earlier you interview, the more likely there will be availability in a class. We do encourage you to apply, even if we are close to the start date, as we often are able to accommodate those on the wait list.
We offer M-1 student visas for international students enrolled in the Full-Time Summer Intensive.
Acting classes in the Intensive meet three times a week for three hours per class. Classes are also offered in Voice and Speech, Movement, Alexander, African Dance and Improvisation. These offerings allow a student to immerse themselves full-time or create a modified program that fits their schedules.
The program requires a full commitment from students. Students are not allowed to miss classes and must also commit to rehearsals between classes.
Acting classes meet on Mon/Wed/Fri. There are classes that meet in the morning 10am-1pm, the afternoon 2-5pm and in the evening 6:15-9:15pm.

Students enrolling in the Part-Time or Core Tracks have the option to sign up individually for additional classes, however, placement priority is given to Full-time students.
